- Hacaj, sect, BRUT, Methode Traditionelle, 0,75l Hacaj
Hacaj Winery is a small family winery from Pezinok in the exceptional Malokarpattia region.
It has been producing sparkling wines produced by the classic champagne method (Méthode
Traditionelle) for several generations. Among sparkling wines, it is the top and most demanding
technology, as it is demanding not only on time (usually one to several years), but also on the
BEST raw material – premium grapes. Sparkling wine produced by the classic method of secondary fermentation directly in bottles, was prepared by gentle pressing of whole bunches of
grapes of the varieties Rizling, Chardonnay, resp. Veltlin green. Thanks to maturation in bottles,
it has a typical yeast-biscuit bouquet with a fruity freshness and honey aftertaste, and especially
long-lasting sparkling with small bubbles.

A wine of a rich, dark red color with a purple-violet rim, with a ripe fruity aroma, dominated
by tones of plums, ripe gypsy cherries, blackthorn, plum gingerbread and freshly ground cocoa beans. The taste is pleasantly velvety, well structured, with sweet ripe tannins and a mild

comes from the warmest and sunniest South Slovak wine-growing region of the Strekov region,
which is reflected in the exceptionally high-quality grown grapes. The Danube variety is one of
the most popular red Slovak newly bred varieties. It comes from the triple crossing of varieties,
when already in 1951 the best Slovak and world oenologist, Mrs. Dorota Pospíšilová, crossed
the Muscat Bouchet variety (French breeder of the 19th century Henri Bouchet) with Blue Portugal (Oport). In 1958 she further crossed this with Svätovavrinecký. She selected offspring from
the hybrid population, where after 30 years of verifying exceptional properties, the Danube was
registered in 1997 and entered in the state variety book.
